FIRST BRONZE MASK This piece is the first bronze I poured myself during a bronze casting course.
This is a female face made originally from wax. Then a mould was made around it using fibre enriched clay to allow it to bake hard, then the wax to drain away and leaving a negative mould.
It took several hours to heat the bronze to 1200 degrees when it was ready the pour into the mould.
FIRST BRONZE MASK is the result of the one and only original homemade bronze.
