This beautiful Bronze Sitting Hare is Limited Edition 7/9. I created this bronze sculpture after watching a hare sitting in the field outside my home – it just sat there perfectly still.
My sculpture has refined and simplified the shape of a hare, as I wish to give the essence of the animal – the quiet – stillness – peace – of this beautiful animal at rest.
The patina gives such depth to the surface. The difference in the photographs is from the surrounding light.
